Endectrid 40mg + 4mg Spot On Solution for Small Cats and Ferrets

For Cats:
For the treatment and prevention of flea infestations, ear mites, notoedric mange, heartworm and infections with gastrointestinal nematodes.

For Ferrets:
For the treatment and prevention of flea infestation, and heartworm.

The recommended minimum doses for cats are 10mg/kg body weight imidacloprid and 1.0mg/kg body weight moxidectin, equivalent to 0.1ml/kg body weight Endectrid for cats

The recommended dosage for ferrets is one pipette of Endectrid Spot On solution for small cats and ferrets (0.4ml) to be administered per animal. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

The treatment schedule for all species should be based on individual veterinary diagnoses and on the local epidemiological situation.

Appropriate combination of pipettes.

Endectrid Spot On Solution for cats and ferrets is a clear yellow to brownish solution containing 100mg/ml imidacloprid and 10mg/ml moxidectin with benzyl alcohol and Butylhydroxytoluene 1mg/ml (E321 as an antioxidant.)

Excipients: Benzyl Alcohol, 1mg/ml butylhydroxytoluene (E321 as antioxidant)

Special precautions for use in animals -

Do not use in kittens under 9 weeks of age.

Do not use in animals that are known to be hypersensitive to teh active substances or to any of the excipients.

Treatment of cats weighing less than 1kg and ferrets weighing less than 0.8kg should be based on a risk-benefit assesment.

For Ferrets - Do not use Endectrid for Large Cats (0.8ml) or Endectrid for Dogs (any size).

Frequent shampooing or immersion of animal in water after treatment may reduce the efficacy of the product.

Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the product -  

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mouth. Do not eat,drink or smoke during application.

Wash hands thoroughly after use. After application do not stroke or groom animals until application site is dry.

Incase of accidental spillage onto skin, wash off immediately with soap and water.

Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Other precautions -

The solvent in this product may stain or damage certain materials including leather, fabrics, plastocs and finished surfaces. Allow the application site to dry before permitting contact with such materials.
